Join us in honoring Karen Detamore for a lifetime of accomplishment and support of Philadelphia’s progressive legal community

A member of the National Lawyers Guild since 1973, Karen Detamore served as the Executive Director of Friends of Farmworkers for 20 years, where she dedicated much of her professional life to improving the living and working conditions of indigent farm workers. Karen has been honored by the Pennsylvania Bar Association with the Everyday Leader Award in 2006. In 2009 she was awarded the Pennsylvania Legal Aid Network Excellence Award.  She was a member of the Philadelphia Bar Association's Board of Governors and has previously co-chaired the Committee on the Legal Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

Also, meet the NLG Chapter’s staff and volunteers and learn about our many programs and the tremendous work the Chapter has done over the last year.

Tickets are $25 for lawyers, sliding scale $10-25 for legal workers, students, and community members.
